The fort of Sheopur belonging to Rai Surjan of Ranthambore was handed over to Akbar when he was marching toward Chittor. Later on, it (Bluchmann’s Sisupur) was made the headquarters of a palace in the Ranthambore government in the subah of Ajmer.
